This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

14 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

Just hauntingly beautiful. I had to put them up. Edited by - RussK on 11/26/2005 12:56:23 AM

POST 2Original post

Russ - This Cayman is the best to date IMO. Are those 19”s or 20”s and lowered? Bob

POST 3Original post

Bob, I believe they have to be 20's, here is what they said, 'One-piece, lightweight TechArt Formula wheels are available in 17, 18, 19 or 20-inch diameters, the biggest featuring 8.5Jx20 wheels with ContiSportContact 2 tyres in size 235/30 ZR 20 (front) and 11Jx20 wheels with 305/25 ZR 20 tyres (rear). Ride height is lowered by some 25-30mm using TechArt sport springs, with a sport suspension with firmer ride in testing.' Russ

POST 4Original post

Looks amazing! 11Jx20 wheels are the way to go! This will probably improve grip as well!

POST 5Original post

I have to admit the more I look at those the more I like em! The car just looks so powerful. Russ

POST 6Original post

I like how they blacked-out parts (rear 'diffuser,' mirrors, etc.) The side skirts are bad. They disturb the lines of the car, namely the 'hockey stick and vent' The spoiler is just ugly and 'add-on.' Why does it appear to have three spoilers? And u lose the function to the auto adjustable spoiler! Edited by - Crazy_fast on 11/26/2005 4:29:46 PM

POST 7Original post

Good taste Crazy Fast. I hope you become an auto designer.

POST 8Original post

Thanks you, that means a lot. I'm aiming for Art Center College of Design (where all the famous designers came from, like Chip Foose) Seeing how its a very (VERY) competitive to get into that college, my alternative is College of Creative Studies (the designer for the hot-selling Chrysler 300C's, magnums etc. just graduted from the school. Interestingly, Chrysler hired him soon after his gradation!)

POST 9Original post

Crazy, You do make some good points. I have to wonder about the rear spoilers,I guess having the upper one eliminates the need for theadjustable one.I like that'hockey stick', and you are right itis getting lost in the added skirts. But in spite of all that it still looks beautiful. Russ

POST 10Original post

I think its the lowered body, blacked-out fogs & 20' rims which make it beautiful. Afterall, the stock cayman comes with large wheel wells and small rims which dont do a good job filling them up. But Russ, everyone has their own tastes, and I respect that. The front lip is quite inpressive (for a front lip) and overall, the car has a more aggressive appearence. And I think this car was posted earlier in another thread, revealing its interior, the best part of this car. Try to check it out!

POST 11Original post

Crazy, I appreciate your thoughts. You have a gift for seeing things that others don't. Believe me I wish I had a fraction of your talent! Thanks Russ

POST 13Original post

I like the blacked out fogs. I've got an Artic on order (Dec). Do you reckon I can get the fogs painted like that? After market? Any ideas where in the UK?

POST 14Original post

I think that the black fogs kind of work with the black wheels, not so sure it would look good with silver Alloy. Might have to do a Photoshop mock up. That Mod even has black tailpipes. Russ
