Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yes I know I've just put it up for sale but since I get the feeling its going to be a few months till my car sells 'at the very least' (and a part of me is still kind of hoping it never will) does anyone fancy swapping their oval style turbo exhaust for the quad type exit? Or do you have a standard exhaust laying around that you upgraded and would sell for a small fee? I noticed fabspeed actually sell my tips as an option so some people must like them but I much prefer the single exit style. It has bothered me about my car since I got it. My exhaust is in perfect condition I just don't like the way it looks (as in this one): http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploads17/Turbo_Tail_051268879736.jpg Regards, Ben

POST 2Original post

It's only the tips that need swapping over surely?

POST 3Original post

Are the oval style ones the same as standard C2 tips out of interest? I've been tempted to change my tips but don't want to spoil the OEM look of the car.

POST 4Original post

Completely different fitment on the Turbo, unfortunately.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

If those tips fit straight on the exhaust that would be fantastic

POST 6Original post

I have 2 standard silencers off my 996 c2 1999 model, both in good condition , will sell for reasonable price plus postage.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I swear I already posted this reply? Thanks v.much for the offer but I think the exhausts are differrent. Someone said it above.
