Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

I always assumed the small rear side windows behind the door were fixed. Looking at one photo it appeared to be rolled down? Anyone know for sure?

POST 3Original post

I would be completely surprised if it could be rolled down. It sure looks fixed and I guess Patch has confirmed it. It would be nice if it could roll down! Russ

POST 4Original post

Anyone notice that early pics, maybe photoshop, had them just like a 911. Really like 'em the way they ended up. Would be cool if they rolled down but that's ok...

POST 5Original post

After sitting in the dealer display car it looks like there will be a rear quarter visibiity problem. I'm not sure how bad it will be till I get to drive one but I have a lot better rear visibility in my 993. I guess I'll just have to go so fast I don't have to worry about seeing out the rear.

POST 6Original post

The rear visability is actually very good for a mid-engine car. My Boxster (99) had the plastic rear window which was wider than the current glass window, and visability was pretty good. I did not like the rear 3/4 visability in the 987 Boxster, the Cayman is better because there is enough glass to avoid completely hiding a car in the C pillar blind spot. Either way the right outside mirror is essential. The rear windows are fixed.
