Reported cause
Turned out to be a leak from the crankcase which they fixed under warranty.
Leading evidence: 'leak' (1 discussions report identifying this cause; no attributable repair resolution). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'leak' (1 discussions; 1 report identifying it and 0 suggest it). They also replaced a noisy flywheel which I had not spotted.

2) If you have the intermediate shaft seal changed insist that the retaining bolts are changed as well.

1) Use a reputable Indy who'll stay with a problem and not rip you off
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Just wanted to share a bit of knowledge with you all regarding an engine oil leak. recently had my C4S in for a new clutch an RMS change. Unfortunately it still exhibited an oil leak  so took it back to the Indy and he swapped out the intermediate shaft seal and bearing. Again it leaked so back again to the Indy :frustrated: . He then changed the Intermediate shaft seal bolts and bingo - oil leak fixed 8) .
So the moral of this story is
1) Use a reputable Indy who'll stay with a problem and not rip you off
2) If you have the intermediate shaft seal changed insist that the retaining bolts are changed as well. :hand: Apparently they come with a thread seal coating which prevents oil leaking through the threads and out of the crankcase
At the start of this exercise I was concerned that I'd be charged £500 for each time that the gerabox was taken out to fix the problem - but no, Tony Wright of Wrightune only charged me once for the original clutch swap, everything else was gratis except for parts costs and minimal labour to swap the new components. What an absolute gent
:worship:

Good to hear and thanks for the heads up.
with the new warranty rules and OPC service issues being discussed on other forums, indies like this will reap the benefit!
Just had our car back from OPC after its annual inspection.
Car had just developed an occasional small leak on the garage floor in last couple of months which I pointed out to the guy picking it up.
Turned out to be a leak from the crankcase which they fixed under warranty. Engine out job and 40 hours labour... They also replaced a noisy flywheel which I had not spotted. I took the opportunity to get the clutch changed at the same time and it has come back surprisingly lighter. So warranty oaid for itself for once.
Good for you Dave, pleased the warranty was worthwhile!
BTW my Indie took the gearbox out when he changed the clutch, suspect OPC do the same as it's quicker and more straightforward than taking the engine out.
