Throughly enjoyable day, warm and sunny, you could scrape the rubber off the track with a spade and make your own tyre up Really user friendly track, great for first timers, loads of run-off. My gear linkage decided to break towards the end of the day resulting in me being towed off the track. Luckily we borrowed some tools from the mecanics and Durgesh from EvoT stripped down my cetre console and 'popped it' back in. Silly plastic linkage :what: A wide variety of cars around the track including an Arial Atom, some older 911's and Caterams. 8) Even on turbo's operating at 0.5 boost :sad: , I still seemed to be overtaking most things. The mornings tuition I had was worth it. Now I'm not using traction I think i've definately moved on from novice to intermediate now but still learning all the time. Some pics.

great work doc, hope to catch you on track soon how was the Turbo's handling, any oversteer ? exactly what you were expecting ?

Heaps and heaps of oversteer but due to the tyres. P Zero Rosso's are terrible when hot. After 5 hard laps it was like an ice rink Deffo gonna buy a spare set of alloys with some decent track tyres for next time. The stock 996 suspension setup is fantastic, one can only imagine how awesome a decent aftermarket setup would be. I used to cook my Bmw's brakes but even the porsche std brakes are excellent. I can't believe i've done 40 ring laps in beemers and only 10 in the Porsche. What a waste!!!! :sad:
