Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi Does anyone know how much a pair of GT2 or CGT seats will be? Or does anyone know of any good replicas? Thanks VFX

POST 2Original post

Are you sitting down? Pretty $$$$: http://e-partssales.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=P&Category_Code=986seat

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

ok... I've regained my composure now... wow! I think I'll consider stock Boxster seats!!! Thanks for the link .

POST 4Original post

The new GT2 Folding sport seats? $6800: http://e-partssales.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=P&Product_Code=GT2BlackLeat&Category_Code=997seatsroll

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

They're nice but I don't like the width of the headrest area compared with the GT2 & CGT seats .

POST 7Original post

I think these look THE best. The voices in your head tell you to BUY IT. http://e-partssales.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=P&Product_Code=997GT3SEATS&Category_Code=986seat

POST 8Original post

Thats exactly my thoughts but I bought them anyway and the look real darn good in the boxster. Once you take a corner with GT3 seats your never going to want to be in stock seats again

POST 9Original post

Yeah the less expensive option "GT3 Seat" is well worth the price. I used my bosses GT3 seat for the autocross and MY GOD i didnt want to give it back. Me pretending to crash into the cameraman

POST 10Original post

I've thought about one of these recovered with proper Savanah Beige leather. http://www.sparcousa.com/pseats_street.asp?id=199 http://www.sparcousa.com/pseats_street.asp?id=198 http://www.sparcousa.com/pseats_comp.asp?id=468

POST 11 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I like the Sparco's. Wonder how much for re-covering them in matching leather will cost. These look pretty nice... .

POST 12Original post

I figure $1000 per. Even so that's a good deal compared to any Porsche seat. I'm sure you could even have them customized, like pretty emboidered Porsche logos on the head rests or something allow those lines.

POST 13Original post

Those GT3/GT2 seats already comes with rails so it's a direct bolt-on. When you buy any Sparco/Recaro/Momo seats, rails are extra.

POST 14Original post

Well, unless the rails cost $7000 I think that a set of leather upolstered Sparco's are still cheaper and a darn nice seat.

POST 15Original post

I would look at the Recaro's. I have a set of SPG's that live in my car for the track season and I love them. I am thinking of having them recovered in Alacantra this winter... while not as slick as the new GT3 seats, I can probably find something else to do to the car for the $18,000 or so I am saving on the pair of seats.
