Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I usually put the passenger one on the rear and just change the fronts but I am tight!
Leading evidence: 'Replace fronts' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace fronts' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. I do rate Bosch products for their quality, a Porsche is built using mostly Bosch EMS so that says something.

After a while of use they give a "Rain-X" type effect.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I've just received a full set (front and rear) of Bosch Aeroblades from a seller on Fleabay... they seem to be three of exactly the same blade. Is this correct?
I was expecting three different parts in my mind- but they all look the same and appear to have the same part number on them. My car is an 03 996.
Thanks GT4... am surprised, becuase when i tried toget them from Halfordsin the past they told me the passenger side was a diifrent part and different size to the drivers side.
are all four identical then?
Crikey, all FOUR!
Where are you putting them all?
The different part numbers may apply to standard wipers as one (driver's side AFAIK) has a spoiler to press to the screen. This is not applicable with Aero blades.
You could always measure/compare the current (old) blades. Also, failing that, the manual is usually very helpful.

They are better than standard, if used in combination with Rain-x you will be REALLY impressed.

I use the PIAA silicone wiper blades and find them better than the standard Bosch ones. After a while of use they give a "Rain-X" type effect.
The fronts are different, side-to-side. The passenger side is a curved blade, but straight ones seem to work fine on both sides. You just get a small triangle of unwiped screen at the bottom on the passenger side.
To be honest, my Porker never goes out in the rain!
So the aero's on mine are just for the look, as they say. Transforms the car (well does a reasonable job of hiding the fact it is 9 years old, that and the litronics).
I pressume the Porsche specified passenger blade has assymetric bridge pieces to transmit the wiper pressure bias to the end of the blade allowing it to hug the lower screen curvature.
I put these on mine and they dont work, there is not enough pressure from the arms to press on the blades, so the centre parts clear but the end wobble about and do not fully press against the curved part of the screen esp at the top. I also had loads of judder problems, so I had to twist the arms to get the angle exactly right.
I also put some on another car and had similar problems, I think unless the car is designed for it ( as on my merc) then they are not so good.
Interesting to hear others experiences
Not sure about the fronts, but have one on the rear and am happy with it.
Ends also have plastic tips, so when the twats at the OPC drop the wiper back in place, it wont scratch the bodywork.
Hold on, the car never goes near an OPC anymore
Timm996: - are yours genuine Bosch, or copies?
Every car since my 2005 MKV Golf, I had had these new or retrofitted. The engineering theory behind them (exponetial or quadratic curved blade) allows equal pressure along length of blade. Better than normal blades that attempt to transfer pressure "equally" by a few point bridges.
