Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I just replaced all the struts on my '02 C2 two weekends ago, and did the mounts while I was at it.
Leading evidence: 'Replace struts' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace struts' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

I will say my previous mounts looked in good shape, but I figured with ~98K miles on them, and the fact that there is rubber in there, I was better off just replacing while I had everything apart.

Any other things I should just replace while I'm in there?

It's a C4S, currently running H&R springs on the stock struts so I wasn't surprised that the struts might be done.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Took the car into the shop to have a clunk in the rear end diagnosed. The techs looked at all bushings and sway bar end links, all is good. They figure it's the struts as they could feel something amiss (I can't remember the description they gave, I'm old, what can I say).
Should I replace the rear strut mounts as a "might was well do it while you're in there" wear item or leave them and just do the struts? Any other things I should just replace while I'm in there?
It's a C4S, currently running H&R springs on the stock struts so I wasn't surprised that the struts might be done. It's a street car but I'm used to cars with a firmer ride. I was thinking of something like Bilstein B8's? The likelihood of track time is pretty much nil based on the fact that there are no tracks within 4-500 km.
Couldn't hurt to do the mounts while you are there. You can look over the bushings to see if any show visible issues but the struts will get you the biggest gain out of it all.
I just replaced all the struts on my '02 C2 two weekends ago, and did the mounts while I was at it. Was hoping that would eliminate some slight creaking from the rear when going over speed bumps, or other low-speed irregularities. That didn't solve my problem, so it looks like I'm going to start going after bushings next.

what's the difference between these front struts:

and these ones:

Other than the obvious that the spring perches are part of the shocks in the second link. They came up as a compatible part in my search on a Canadian parts site but not on Pelican's site.
Creak at low speed going over speed bumps is classic sign of sway bar bushings that need lubrication... silicone grease is the right stuff as it will not degrade the rubber... good luck
