I'm bringing my CS to my local Porsche dealer tomorrow for it's 2 yr. maint. It has 13K miles, and the oil was changed nearly a year ago w/ just under 9k miles. I want to keep my car in great shape, but I also realize there are things I don't need such as wiper blades (car has been in rain a handful of times) and cabin air filter. What do I really need done, vs. what my dealer would like to sell me? Oil change is a definite. I may also get them to replace my brake fluid - I can do it myself, but free time is at a premium these days. OTOH, I don't want to spend more than necessary.

Yes, brake fluid is a good idea. You might also want to consider an air filter. I've always changed mine (on other cars) at 15k (my Cayman is nowhere near that). I know the Cayman has a lot longer interval than that, but my filters are always pretty dirty at 15k.

Take a look at the maintenance booklet that came with the car - it explicitly points out all the service items and inspections that are made for the 20K service. It will also tell you that they recommend brake fluid flush and bleed at 2 years, regardless of mileage. If it's been a year since the last oil change, I'd get that done for sure. brad
