Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Anytime I put on the aircon to demist the windscreen the whole screen mists up real bad to the extent that you have to stop driving, any ideas? Thanks

POST 2Original post

Sounds like the Air Con has run out of Gas and needs a reGas

POST 3Original post

Try leaving the climate control on, the worst thing you can do is use it intermittantly.

POST 4Original post

Sundeel is most likely correct, but you might also want to check that the pollen filter is clean and dry.

POST 5Original post

Could this be as simple as what happened when I first got my pride and joy: Didn't know that the aircon switch was a knock off switch and was knocking it off rather than putting it on (on a 997 anyway). The light even came on to tell me it was 'off'. c: Pete

POST 6Original post

Shine a torch through the front bumper air inlets and inspect the aircon condensers. If they have a black oily film on them they are likely to be shot, so recharging the system won't help. I know as this is exactly what happened to me although a damp pollen filter does make a lot of sense :dont know: 8) :thumb: Ray
