Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

I want to remove the bracket that holds the Nav DVD player so I can include it when I sell the player. It's held in place by four clips. The two in front look like I can pry them out, but I can't reach the two in back. Any ideas? Here's a picture that shows the two clips in front, they are the gray clips on either side of the bottom of the bracket. You can see how I've bent the retaining part of the clip up a bit on the left side. The two in the back are so far back in there that there's no way I could bend those clips.

POST 2Original post

Have you considered removing the trim piece surrounding and then accessing from the top? It's 8 Torx 15 screws, disconnecting the frunk light, and then just lifting the frunk gasket up and out of the way of the trim piece. If I'm looking at the picture you sent correctly and relating it to my car correction (which I may not be) it's a 15 minute job that would make your life much easier. Stephan
