I've just got hold of a set of modified silencers for my 2000 C4,I assume I need to remove the rear bumper to change the silencers,if that's the case can anyone offer any advice on removal.I can't find any info on removing it,so any help would be appreciated,thanks.

No, you don't need to take off the rear bumper. Remove the wheel, and the silencers come out through the wheel arch.

Thanks for the reply,I'll give it a go over the weekend.it's a relief to not have to take the bumper off.

You don't even need to remove the wheel, 3x nuts on the back of the muffler mounting plate (8mm I think) Loosen Collar between Muffler & Cat. Slide Collar over towards Cat. push mounting studs out of plate And out it comes.
