Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

hi just wondering could you connect a ps2 slimline to the pcm nav tv screen so you can play dvd .also could you connect a ipod to it

POST 2Original post

NavTV recently released an A\V integration kit for PCM2; I believe it requires a bit of soldering but I'm not sure as their website sucks. For iPod connectivity, the best solution, IMHO so far is the Dension unit; but Porsche is going to be coming out with an OEM alternative shortly. Find more details by doing a search. Thanks, Suneet

POST 3Original post

If you really want to play DVD's in your car, I think it would be less of a headache if you were to just order your car with the standard head unit and buy something aftermarket that can play DVD's and also allow for iPod intergration. There are several articles on aftermarket head unit options as well as many threads on the subject of iPod connection and the like. I suggest you search the site. I think you will find that any question you have has been asked here before.
