Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

I currently have over 60 DVD concerts and would like to copy the sound tracks to play back in my Cayman. I am not interested in installing a Kenwood DNX7100 ($6K to redo all the speakers, etc.) or the Pioneer AVIC-D3 (probably $2.5K). I just want to HEAR the music in MP3, off an iPOD, or something else similarly simple. I am willing to install an adapter. I have googled this question, and only come up with software with a review rating of one star, because the software will not burn proprietary data. Any ideas out there from you talented and creative minds?

POST 2Original post

mac or pc? i have done this before with a mac and it sounds great...i would need to find the program (only used it once and it was free) but you might try ilounge.com for this info too, or versiontracker.com good luck

POST 4Original post

I'm using Roxio Easy Media Creator 7 and it includes an application called "Capture", which would allow you to create CD style wave files out of the 2 channel analog stereo output from your DVD's. From there you could convert them into MP3 and/or load them onto your Ipod using I-Tunes. Or you could just compile the saved wave files into audio CD's. Good luck. It sounds like a fun project.

POST 5Original post

Thanks for the info, SF Cfan. I have Roxio Easy CD Creator 5, which does not have the Capture application. I will try for an upgrade, or just buy the newer version. I found Easy CD Creator to be a great product.

If you have ITunes you can use that. I would describe how, but this walkthrough is much more practical. How to burn a CD in iTunes | iLounge

AB, The instructions above tell me how to burn a CD from my iTunes library. How do I get the audio portion from a DVD concert INTO my iTunes music library, so I can then download it? CM
