Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Would folk recommend the ICARSOFT POR V2.0 code reader? I have a 987 Cayman and would like to read and reset engine / gearbox / ABS / SRS etc codes and also reset service intervals, code in a new battery etc. There's so many options for code readers and it's hard to differentiate the good ones.

POST 2Original post

I've not had a Porsche one, but I have for JLR models and it was excellent. Lots of model/ manufacturer specific functions, good quality, easy to use etc.

POST 3Original post

I have one and have used it on a 987. Works great and does everything you need

POST 4Original post

I have a Mercedes version, appears to read every module on the car without issue. I've always wanted to know how many times my boot had been opened

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks all, that gives me some confidence. I'll go ahead and order.
