It'll be reverse switch on top of the gear box. Are your reversing sensors also not working? If so, deffo that. Not too hard a job changing it, just a bit hard work getting under the car.

The reverse light sensor is a common part. I believe the one I got also had a Vauxhall part number on it, so no point in paying extra for it from Porsche. Just FYI. Changing it is not too bad, but it is located at the top of the front of the gearbox, so pretty much under the rear seats, so if you're on jack stands you will need to jack the car quite high up to gain access.

Is the car a Tiptronic? Because the answer to the reversing lights working is completely different. You need to take out central console to reach switch located by the side of the gear stick.
