Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Are there any "must have" tool kits for the Boxter owner? Whether it be small star keys or engine compartment tools, brake necessity, anything... Please post any links you suggest. Thanks guys. This site has been VERY helpful for a newbie and now eternal Boxter owner!

POST 2Original post

Your spelling of the word Boxster added to the fact that you have one makes me .

POST 3Original post

Porsche Box s ters have boxer engines. But, neither the car nor the engine is spelled b-o-x-t-e-r. Sorry to belabor this with a second post, but it rang my bell too. Now to answer your question... A set of Torx screwdrivers is very helpful. You'll use them all over your car. A metric socket set would also be very handy. I use mine all the time.

POST 4Original post

Oh yeah, another good thing to keep around for repairing and fixing up your boxster is one of these. I attached a picture so you could see it. A picture is worth a thousand words, right? . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

POST 5Original post

Randall, Very funny indeed! Thanks for the laugh!

POST 7Original post

Wow, you would think the creators of such fine automobiles could spell their models correctly.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
