Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi guys, Just picked up my 2003 996 Carrera 4S, and thrilled with it, nice step up from my 350z Nissan. Just wondered what the ground clearance is on the car so I can work out if it is lower than the Zed or not. I'm taking the car somewhere this weekend where there is something I know I have to drive over and I want to know if the car will ground out or not. thanks! (sorry quite a random question I know)

POST 2Original post

Ground clearance isn't an issue unless it's beyond an M030 setup. Mine has substantial ground clearance running on 18's - more so than my daily driver. I would think that you would only start getting issues with a 30mm drop.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
