Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I'd like to see how he's fitted the ITBs to the motor too.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • 911uk: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just been watching Tavarish on Youtube with his latest project, 1000 Bhp Porsche turbo

POST 2Original post

Yes very interested to see how it turns out. My son and I are following his progress. Only complaint is he keeps calling the wastegate actuator the wastegate lol. It's a great bit of Porsche content though.

POST 3Original post

I skipped through a couple of bits of it, when talking about the scavenge pumps from the turbo he was talking about them returning oil to the crankcase. I really hope he knows what he is doing but he didn't fill me with confidence. MC

POST 4Original post

He does seem a wee bit yeehaaaw but I do admire the way he has plunged headlong (financially) into the project. According to him the engine is unknown??? He must have done s compression test at least?

POST 5Original post

I've been watching his channel for a couple of years - I think he gets a lot of advice off-screen tbh. He is very good at what he does though even if his technical knowledge isn't 100% There are far worse including samcracc who is very gung-ho and goonzsquad. Interested to catch the next video in the series - wonder if he is going to try starting it :bandit:

POST 6Original post

He really does strike me as a bit of a chancer to be honest. It's OK content though. This guy is pretty cool: I built a Porsche Boxster into a 60's F1 car https://youtu.be/AJt6sr31caY I'd like to see how he's fitted the ITBs to the motor too.
