Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

Ok guys basically i've just installed; Fabspeed MAXFLOW headers without cc's Fabspeed MAXFLOW catback exhaust systems + tips Fabspeed ecu reflash Fabspeed F1 Airfilter Im happy with the new feel of the car and its running well, even though i skipped the break in period Although its a lot more responsive I still want more Im just not sure what i should do next! Basically the full 3.8 conversion would cost a bit too much for now, therefore I would rather do it bit by bit, however I'm not sure if thats possible. Im looking to spend a couple of thousand. Just wondering what I should I add on next to get the biggest gain in HP. Been thinking about a camshaft or a new intake system not sure whats available or even on the prices of those. Also Im not sure if I can add certain parts without having change the rest. I would really appreciate your guys input on this, and what idea's you have (links and prices would be great). I'll try to take some photos to show u the gtsport bodykit on my blue cayman. But until then i'll be waiting for your advise. tiptronic cayman btw

POST 2Original post

Wow, I think you have a tiptronic monster on your hands. I havn't heard of any camshaft upgrades, the only intake upgrade is the Evo-V-Flow and I don't think that will add much hp because you already have an upgraded filter. What wheels are you on? The techarts I will assume, which are pretty light. I think you're just going to have to send me your money so I can get some headers on my car. - Suneet

POST 4Original post

espresso, You have the fabspeed headers without cats??? are you getting a check engine light? Also you did the fabspeed tune? I was the test car for the development of that tune. Came out really good. Glade to see you got it. I'm in the same boat as you as far as wanting more power without getting the X51. When my car was getting tuned i was talking to the guys about doing a nitrous kit. Nothing to big, maybe a 100 or 75 shot but they said it can be done with. I'm going to have it done as soon as spring rolls around. If all goes well that may be the extra power you are looking for.

POST 5Original post

had the car tuned in a garage over here. No I'm not sure but they might have disabled the check engine light, but I'm definitely not getting any warning lights. Over here theres no CC requirement Not too sure about adding a NOS kit, kinda seems a bit wrong to put it on my cayman s, but i might give it a try like u said at 75 if i find no other alternatives.

POST 6Original post

Europe and US have different ECU's so O2 sensors don't trip in Europe but will in the US unless you turn them off.

POST 7Original post

I'm big fan of nitrous, I've used it on just about all my cars to date. If its done right its allot of fun. I'm very confident that the kit for my cayman will be great.

POST 8Original post

espresso, You should be on the UK board, need your input with tuning!!!!

POST 9Original post

I think you have done about all the low cost mods. How about a no so cheap super charger?

POST 10Original post

I'd go with a limited slip dif. I am getting frustrated with the wheel spin and I would think it is worse with any increase in power.
