Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I run a track bike so I'm replacing the pads regularly.
Leading evidence: 'Run track bike so i'm' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace pads regularly' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Braking may feel a bit wooden initially with new pads. Should be fine though after a few applications.
I run a track bike so I'm replacing the pads regularly. One out lap and they're fine. Especially Z04's!
Cars and bikes you should 'bed' the discs and pads together. New discs and pads you should avoid hard, hard braking so you don't glaze new pads and cook new discs and for 50-100 miles try to ease the vehicle down from varying speeds to a near standstill without anchoring up! So quiet road and few 30-0, 40-0, 60-0 executions will help. Basically drive normally and don't try putting it nose down under massive braking for a little bit!!
I do hope that photo is not of your new discs Notts, because they look wankered already
After fitting new discs and pads I take the car for a drive on a quiet dual carriageway and left foot brake while holding a steady throttle and modulate the brake pressure on and off a few times just to settle the disc and pad surfaces to get full contact. Then I take it to my private test track ( a local industrial estate at night ) and do a few 30-0, 40-0, 60-0 and Bloody fast-0 standing on the brake pedal with possible ABS stops, obviously allowing the discs to cool down a little between hard stops :thumb:
I'm with kurlykris on this.
No dispute that it is wise to brake cautiously for a while with new discs and pads all round, but the picture makes the disc look badly scored. It should be smooth if almost new.
Maybe it's a lacquer on the disc that is catching the light maybe?
Zoom in and you can see the colouring of the disc not grooves, its important to get heat cycles through the brakes to get them bedded in. they dont seem Wankered to me, its probably the production greases coming out of the holes making it appear like grooves.
the key is to not overheat them, anticipating traffic will help bed them. We used to see problems with automatics and cheaper brakes, regularly came back with a vibration. after a few miles and a little time you will be fine and they will feel normal.
like said before they could feel a little wooden to start with and this should disappear and inspire a little more confidence
