Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey guys...Last I was in Pelican "You last visited: 07-17-2007 at 06:35 AM" At the time I had an air cooled 80 SC Targa that was converted into a Cab. Got out of Porsche for a minute Now I am the owner of 04 Targa and now I find myself more on Rennlist than Pelican, but its good to know there's so much info being inputted out there as it was when I was here. I am just glad to be back into a Porsche and the 996.2, even with its infamous engine

POST 2Original post

I sold my backdated 1979SC in June 2022, and purchased a 2002 996.2 base with 6 speed. Previous owner did the RMS and IMS, but I have the replaced items and they were in perfect condition. I love my 996 and love autocrossing it since I got it.
