Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I was driving home Sunday and my washer jet light came on, filled up with screenwash and now although lights gone out no water comes out to clean the screen either front or rear.

I also found that putting hot water into the bottle and running the washer pump can clear out crud in the system.
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

The motors make a noise though so is there a common fault that prevents water coming out even though motors are whirring when the lever pulled
Thanks

I'd be very surprised if you've got a rear washer jet. They are very, very rare as they were a horrendously expensive option.
My guess is that a joining pipe has come adrift somewhere so the water is shooting where it shouldn't. Either that or there is a blockage - as often occurs when the water tank is run to empty and picks up crud from the bottom of the tank.
There's a diagram of all the joints etc on this thread.

If it is none of the suggestions already made it could be a clogged filter in the washer fluid reservoir. Common issue on cars that don't get used much, the screen wash in the water solidifies and gets stuck in the filter.
Whip the reservoir out and give the metal filter a good clean. There are various how to articles on this as it's a common issue.
I had no idea it was even an option ! never seen one fitted so i had assumed it never was .. learn something new every day here :thumb:
That young man is a bloody good tip and far easier than removing a bottle full of stinking fluid and getting covered in it .
Certainly something i will be trying in the future .
It must be a split or unconnected pipe as when I changed headlight bulbs and pulled the lever you could hear the water coming out and then under the car. Took a dry day with no rain to figure that out!
wheel arch liner off at some point soon
