Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 3Original post

Short and sweet Sundeep. You know, you can use more than 140 chars, it's not Twitter! PS - is that the new Nurburgring TAXI on your sig?

POST 4Original post

yes  original poster may find this 996 FAQ thread useful http://911uk.com/viewtopic.php?t=32338 all the 2003 MY changes, which includes PSM becoming standard equipment

POST 5Original post

LOL at Sundeep No traction control on my 99 C2 Cab

POST 6Original post

I'm sure we've had this topic on a couple of times before. TC was not standard equipment on 1998 996 cars. It became standard on all 1999 MY cars. You cannot switch it off (as opposed to the PSM system offered as an option over and above TC but standard on C4 cars). ~ Maxie

POST 7Original post

I don't think that's correct Maxie. You definitely CAN switch TC off - mine had a switch on the dash. Also, I believe it was still optional on 1999 C2 models. PSM was introduced at the same time as eGas. Hence why PSM was fitted to 1999 C4s. eGas wasn't introduced on C2s until MY2000.

POST 8Original post

There is certainly nothing whatsoever on mine, the wheels will happily light up and mine is a late '99.

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post
