I use mine all of the time, they really are very effective, they just stop your ability to use the back seats.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi Guys, I wondered if those of you with Cab's use a wind deflector? thinking of getting one, I had one in my BMW which was great but my C2 cab doesn't have one. Are they easy to fit? Just wanted your opinions please. Thanks

POST 2Original post

Hi Dawn - a doddle to fit - they clip in either side of the rear seat. I use mine all of the time, they really are very effective, they just stop your ability to use the back seats.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Great thanks... I don't use the back seats so that won't be an issue

POST 4Original post

Hi, 2nd that, I have one and it's excellent. The difference it makes is substantial. Cheers

POST 5Original post

They are a bit fragile, the mesh gets pushed out of its frame easily and its nearly impossible to get it back in. The locating pins are spring loaded as well. I've got a nice gouge in the leather trim adjacent to the rear seat where the previous owner didn't lock the pins back before lifting the deflector out.

POST 6Original post

Well worth having but they also restrict the rake and how far the seats go back. So if you have long legs (like me) you cant get quite the same adjustment that you might be used to. They also impead rear vision slightly, especially if you forget to put the vertical bit down with the hood up. If you want one (and they are worth having) keep an eye on fleabay and also this forum, they come up for sale from time to time.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Great thanks guys, I'll be looking out for one

POST 8Original post

Absolute necessity IMHO. The difference on the Motorway is astounding. Don't use it on country road blasts though as I like the sound from the exhaust!! About two minutes from boot to fitted.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
