I have just fitted the small(ish) fixed rear wing with brake light (from design911) and it looks pukka.

I'm looking at fitting a GT3RS front bumper to replace my standard Carrera 2 2004 front end.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

To all the Obi-One-Kanobis out there....help!
I'm looking at fitting a GT3RS front bumper to replace my standard Carrera 2 2004 front end. Other than the actual bumper itself, what plumbing and plastic work behind it do I need to modify/replace?
:worship:
Thanks!
You won't need the upper air duct as it will be fine without, you won't be able to tell.
The outer air ducts will marry up to the RS bumper just dandy..
I am confident the outer skin is all that is needed along with swapping the hockey stick mouldings etc off the original bumper (easy job)
Quality! With you on that one, who knows what Santa has in store.
Glad to give you secret comedians a run out
Thanks for the advice, let you know how I get on

Rumbled!
We Targas need to stick together on this stuff...
I've been thinking of fitting the regular GT3 front apron for a while...Ebay made me ask the question to see what the internal differences are.
Mindful the car will need to be balanced, what rear spoilers are suitable for the Targa other than the Carrera spoiler?

Won't work, would make the handling worse.
GT3's run without the RS extra downforce fine as it's rear downforce that is needed, only when the rear downforce levels get to RS level then this is needed.
if you do you'll need to get a larger fixed rear spoiler
Best to just get a front GT splitter or much better to improve the rear downforce.
Thanks for the replies guys. Triff, any pics of your car with your new spoiler?
I already have the GT3 lip fitted to my standard front PU which made such a difference I'm sold on improving the aero before venturing to the ring.
Decided upon OEM GT3 PU front but can't decide on the rear spoiler. As far as I can tell the GT3 MKII rear spoiler generates more downforce and is a better bet.
Found this at FVD in Germany that looks neat, Integrated boot lid with a Carrera like spoiler. Thoughts?
Anyone got an opinion on FVD in Germany as a supplier of aero parts?
BTW, how do you get pics and text to play nice on posts?? I give up
