Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Help! Just been for a drive with the roof down, parked up, tried to put the roof up, the rear lid went up, side flaps etc but the roof didn't move. Tried putting it down and back up and now it's stuck with the rear lid stuck up in the air!!! Does anyone have any idea how I could get it back down?! Or even better, get the roof to go up?! When you press the switch you can hear a couple of light clicks and possibly a very faint whirring, but I'm not sure if I'm imagining that. Any help gratefully received!

POST 2Original post

Read the section in the owner's manual and follow the instructions to close it manually by using the Hard top Allen key (the one with the red plastic handle). When I say close it, I am assuming you want the roof closed, not open (down)
