Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Have a MY22 718 GT4, thought rather than programming sat nav in car would use My Porsche app on phone, find destinations, add to favourites & hopefully synch next time I jump in the car.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi all sure I’m missing something & would appreciate advice please. Have a MY22 718 GT4, thought rather than programming sat nav in car would use My Porsche app on phone, find destinations, add to favourites & hopefully synch next time I jump in the car. Doesn’t seem to work, stored favourites in phone app, iPhone connected in car, tried wired & wireless nothing in favourites in PCM, strange thing is logged into app on my iPad with same credentials as iPhone & favourites not listed there either. Guessing account not syncing? Hope above makes sense & appreciate any help you can give

POST 2Original post

It sure if this will work as not personally played with it, but have you tried connecting your phone to the cars wi-fi network and then it may sync. Apologies if you have already tried this.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi thanks for the reply, tried this & didn’t work but much appreciated. Have now entered destinations in the car on PCM, was just been lazy : D
