i would start looking at the oxy sensor if your fuel drop has just occured, what mpg are you getting

I fit the oxy sensor because of the problem but it hasn't made a difference. I used to get around 27 average on a 500 mile run but i am now down at 22/23. Its the same journey once a fortnight

On a 500 mile run 27 seems fair. I get 28 or so on my 997s. If you get 16.9 on a 500 mile run then you need to change out of third!

Wow Rich, 27mph! I saw that to the 'Ring but not everyday driving but some of that is in and out of Manc so 22-23 average is norm for me.

Blimey - that must have taken ages to get round... :grin: My point was mph when I think you mean mpg :?: :floor: Incidentally, I averaged 8 mpg for a whole day at Silverstone in my 993 a few years ago :grin: Hate to think what my RRS would average at the Ring Single figures are quite easily achieved in normal road use!
