Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Good day, all. I'm in the middle of doing a halogen to LED conversion on my 03 Base Boxster (same headlights as the 996), using the RetrofitLabs kit. The first one is done and came out great. While disassembling the second one, I broke the black plastic ball that's attached to the back of the headlight bucket. I'm going to try to plastic weld it back together today, but I'm not incredibly confident that will work. If anyone has a headlight assembly lying around and is interested in selling it off or in parting it out, i'd be interested. Thanks, Tom C
