Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

If you have the new OPC warranty you have no other choice than to use an OPC.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

My OPC says I need new Discs and Pads for the rear on my C4s. Anyone recommend a good Indy within 30 miles or so of SE London that might be a cheaper alternative to OPC? I have an official warranty so do not want to prejudice renewing that.
Try Camtune which is OPC West Byfleet, mention 911uk and see if you can get any labour or part discount... You could always buy the official parts and do it yourself, who is going to know? Saves you a good £200 in labour probably. As long as the parts are branded/ numbered no one will know... It's really simple to do.
Not strictly true. You certainly have to have Original Porsche Parts, but you can fit them yourself if you wanted.
Last month JZM were the most cost effective in terms of getting the Original Parts for my 997 C2S.
If you use other OEM you will have a warranty issue.
BTW are you sure they need changing? My friend had a service done at West London, they advised all corners needed new discs and pads as they were badly worn.
A whole year later
he had a service at East London OPC who said the fronts would need changing at some point soon but the backs were fine!!!! Bloody cheeky f@£kers...

I am confident that you will get an honest appraisal of what does or doesn't need to be done. Good value too - last time I was in, they said they were doing brisk trade from people who didn't want to pay OPC prices.
Regards,
Ben
Thanks for all the tips. I am pretty sure they need doing because they have come up on two reports from different OPCs. I am pretty sure the warranty is ok as long as the perts are official, the person fitting them does not need to be official.
