The Phillips Extreme bulbs as stated in a post above do make a difference over the poor standard bulbs.Fitted recently to my 981 and our Cayman R .

I've just fitted these to the Cayman R - massive improvement, probably better than the Xenons I had in the S3 and don't look all silly and chavvy.

Heading home tonight in the dark in my (relatively new) Boxster Spyder. On a few unlit roads noticed the headlights are pretty weak: maybe used to 997 xenons but nevertheless they're not good.. does anyone know if you can upgrade the bulbs on these to something better ?

I fitted bulbs to my R and did not really notice any change, My xenons in my other car are at least twice as powerful still.
