Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Changed out a dead battery in the 991 today and the Driver side is stuck in the full up position. Carried out reset procedure exactly per manual and no help. Fuse is good. Can hear relay clicking sounds when operating window switch. Anyone had this trouble before? Won’t even do the little drop to close the door. Passenger side reset and works fine.

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Will do exploratory surgery I suppose.

Hi 911@SC Have you tried searching this sub-forum? I checked to see if anyone had ever posted a similar window issue and found a thread from last year with a few suggestions to "train" the window. Perhaps it could be of use: https://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-996-997-991-forum/1135758-window-issue.html
