Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

I have the hatch panels off and in the process of hunting down some rattles/clunking. I can't seem to open this thread for the fix: http://www.planet-9.com/reviews/mis...views/miscellaneous/p7-porsche-stopping-the-hatch-26quot-3bclunk-26quot-3b.html Does anyone have a working link?

POST 2Original post

Ha - I came on here to do exactly the same thing! And also found that that link is dud. There is a copy of what I think is the document here: https://********.com/forums/attachm...paired-cayman-trunk-clunk-who-should-pay-wm-537949-noise-fix-trunk-clunk-1-.pdf It doesn't tell you much though. You and I seem to be at a very similar stage of our research and I think the next step for me is to remove the hatch trim and see what's what behind it. Snag is that I'm now struggling to find good instructions about how to to that. All the best. Let me know how you get on.

POST 3Original post

Yup saw that too not very helpful since there are no pics. I'm going to try stuffing some felt pads in between the counterweights. Not even quite sure if that is the cause of the rattle. I noticed that the strut supports when fully extended rattle and are a little worn so I might just start with replacement of that..Good luck with removal, I manhandled it off and only broke 1 clip Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
