Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • 911uk: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm sure I can't be the only person to fill their 996 service book up! Oddly we managed exactly the same on my wife's considerably younger Focus ST the day before. I guess Ford didn't expect the service book to be stamped for too long. Anyhow, if you have filled your book up have you bought another to continue or just left it with receipts in a folder? If you bought a book where did you buy it as I've not managed to find many and they seen to be for a rather unreasonable cost (£50+)!

POST 2Original post

Yep I filled mine on my old C2. Bought one off eBay for about £22. They do turn up from time to time. If you're in a hurry though you'll have to pay the £50.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks. Guess i'll have to suck it up then. The one for the Focus was somewhat cheaper, but in about the same proportion to parts i guess!

POST 4Original post

You could make an enquiry at your local OPC (or any OPC for that matter, prices may vary) Downside is there could be a lengthy wait :?: One or two old threads on here discussing the difficulties of obtaining replacement service books.

POST 5Original post

Can't you just get a pdf version of the page(s) and print them out / stick them in? F paying £50 for a new one!

POST 6Original post

On the 993 page, but same difference. link to a pdf version in the FAQ's: http://www.911uk.com/viewtopic.php?p=1078841

POST 7Original post

My indy simply photocopied some blank pages from another book and stapled them into the original book. Perhaps not the most elegant solution, but does the trick perfectly satisfactorily.

POST 8Original post

I scanned a blank position, then created a sheet on PowerPoint and pasted the images on in a table format. See attached image.

POST 9Original post

Filled mine a while ago even though it's only just clicked to 90k ?!? I rang the opc, about £35 if I recall but took ages to arrive, probably nearly two months?!

POST 10Original post

I have just decided to look into this as my service book is now full. It seems the 993 service page and Alexs'service page are different to mine. My service page has 3 tick boxes. The 993 has 2 and Alex has 4! Not that any of this makes much of a difference just would be nice to keep my book looking the same ( a bit ***** about things like that ). So does anyone have an empty 3 tick box page that could be downloaded to copy ?
