The car has been tracked for 7.5 seasons and has had 2 incidents that required body work and paint, professionally done. No structural damage - car is straight and aligns normally - remained driveable prior to repair both times. The nose is pitted from track trash. Oil changes every 3000 miles or less w/
Mobil 1
and lately Joe Gibbs Driven oil. Compression test at 78,493 miles - 1-220, 2-225, 3-215, 4-225, 5-210, 6-225. The last 2 D.E.s of 2019 I set personal best times so the engine is running strong. New headliner and touched up interior trim. The painted interior hard surfaces in back are scraped in several places allowing the black plastic to show. I will include some touch up paint and sprayer. 2 keys.
While certainly a capable track car, it is still a good looking street car that rides pretty much like a stock
Cayman
.
A PCA friend who has taken Jake Raby's courses and recently rebuilt his own 3.4, borescoped my car and did not find anything. Clean oil pan and filter and no troubling noises.

Bill - Sorry to bring up an old thread, but did you ever sell the
Numeric
Shift Cables for
Cayman
w/ 3.8 X51?
No, I still have them. Are you doing or have a 3.8 swap?
Actually...doing a 4.2 swap
Let me know, I'm interested in buying them.
