Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

You don't mention what type of lights you have but I use these in multiple cars.

9 out of 10 times, poor light output is not solved by simply replacing the bulbs.

Hi Adrian- Do you do the service on replacing the halogens Bi-LED?
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

You don't mention what type of lights you have but I use these in multiple cars. Technically illegal at 65 watts but at only 10 watts over normal, they're not bright enough to **** anyone off. They're not in production any more but still pop up on Ebay.

. You want the Philips D2S X-treme Vision Gen 2 HID bulbs. Incredible bulbs. He also has the parking lights and high beam lights as well as Retrofit Lab Projector.

I just called Adrian today to upgrade my Litronics HIDs. I watched this - found it helpful to understand what I need.

you might need to watch part 1 if you dont know which type of headlight you have. There were two headlight options offered by Porsche back then
Hi, I'm Adrian with Adrian Taillights on my personal account.
9 out of 10 times, poor light output is not solved by simply replacing the bulbs. Having done more than a dozen 996.2 retrofits myself, I've seen a LOT of used OEM 996 projectors, and they all have very poor reflectors and cloudy lenses. This is why the Retrofitlab upgrade is a crucial part of the solution. Ask anyone that has done the conversion and they will tell you what an incredible difference it makes, especially in combination with the Philips D2S bulbs.
Check out this comparison video I made some years ago:

Hi Adrian- Do you do the service on replacing the halogens Bi-LED? I have a 996.1 and the lenses are a little burnt from the previous owner using a hotter bulb and would be interested if you do the swap if I send you the headlight units.
