Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi - strange warning that comes on randomly...have rung a couple of OPC's..they've never seen/heard of this one before...and nothing in the paper or online manual...thoughts??

POST 2Original post

cars have too many stupid sensors now. Sorry can't help you with the issue - sounds ridiculous - more like an April's fool joke

POST 3Original post

Has the windscreen been replaced recently? Could be that the sensor has not been reconnected properly. Some cars have had the mirror/rain+light sensor bracket/assembly come away from the screen.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks both, wish it was an April fools joke. When I collected the car - I did ask them to re-attach the rear view mirror as it felt loose and the adhesive looked ‘unattached’ from the outside. You’ll know the GTS suspension isn’t exactly forgiving… so your comment makes sense. Is booked into Porsche Chiswick to look at this (and a front & rear screen recall)… bit preturbed by the £312/hr investigate charge if not warranty… (can you tell it’s my first 911!??)
