Trying to split rims on my sport classics . 20 bolts out and 10 heads snapped off. Before I snap any more heads off : is there a trick to it? Surely I should not be loosing 50% of the bolts in the process?

I've just had my BBS refurbished at JP Alloys in Cannock. They use heat before attempting to remove the bolts. Interestingly they wouldn't start the job until their local engineering company was back to work after the lock down, just in case any helicoils required. I can recommend JP Alloys, if you want the diamond cut rim. Dave
