Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

When the cars locked, if I hold down the unlock button on the key, both the windows go down. When I hold the lock button on the key the windows don't roll up but will using the key in the door. Does this sound like a coding issue or a faulty door latch type problem? Anyone else had this?

POST 2Original post

That's just the way it is, it's very odd I know!

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Really? Doing a search it seems that it either works or it doesn't, can't seem to find anyone that's got the 50% I have...

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hmmmm strange - my handbook says it should work on locking as well as unlocking...

POST 6Original post

It should do, so you've either got a fault or it's been coded out.

POST 7Original post

I have misinterpreted the heading, believed it to be open on remote and close on key in lock. But logically if you put the key in lock position you wouldn't expect windows to open! Be good to know if you sort it.
