Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

19 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

I've finished up the 'Nice' list to date and published it on the site at: http://www.planet-9.com/site_info.asp Scroll down and you can see a list of those who have donated to the Cayman Club! As we continue to grow the $$$ it takes to run the site are going to grow as well. Just yesterday I called my ISP to investigate the business class service level upgrades to see what it will cost to get more bandwidth for this site (that is what constrains us currently) and basically it's another $80/mo! Ouch! So I wanted to do something to thank those who have already donated, and maybe encourage others to do so. Members who donate will have a special signature line under their names in the Forum and in their profiles, you might have noticed the 'Club Sponsor 2005' titles appearing under some member's names. Those members are now also listed on the Sponsors page that I just posted a link to. I would like to sincerely thank them for their support of this site!

POST 2Original post

Hi Kman I've made a wee donation to the cause seemed like good use of my 50th post !!! Many thanks for all your efforts in running this venue so well. It creates an exciting and informative buzz in the run up to our cars arriving, and I'm quite sure that will continue once we become owners. Thanks Tony Edited by - tonser on 11/30/2005 09:08:51 AM

POST 3Original post

K-Man, I don't know what some of us (namely ME) would have done without this site, and urge everyone to help out with whatever they can to keep it alive and well. Just think once we start getting delivery of our cars!! Then who we gonna talk to if not this group! I can just see me pulling Ms Cayman in the gargage and tucking her in after a wonderful drive and wanting to share that experience, with me wife!!! NO! She will have heard all she can take by then, I will be here at the Cayman Club spilling over with words to people that I know want to hear them. Long live the Cayman Club!! Aloha Russ

POST 4Original post

tonser, Thanks for the donation! I updated your account profile and added you to the list of those who have donated. I also received what so far is an anonymous donation, from an email address not associated with an account here. That's fine too, but I'd like to thank that person as well so I sent them an email to see if it is someone who is registered here or not.

POST 5Original post

Wow, no sooner had I added tonser, but Atlas_Croc just made a donation as well! Account updated, added to the list! Thanks!!!

POST 6Original post

Can you give us an address to mail you a cheque? My Paypal account is all messed up. JHellow

POST 8Original post

I should also mention that proceeds from the Goodie Store also go to supporting this site, so if you are looking for some Cayman gift items for this holiday season, give the shop a try, there are new items in there as of today! http://www.cafepress.com/caymanclub

POST 12Original post

Sorri k-Man, I can't donate! I am still too young to use credit cards, or paypal or anything. Is there another way to contribute to the site?

POST 14Original post

I've updated the list posted in the first message to include those who have donated to date except for the one anonymous person who hasn't responded yet to my email. Once again, my many thanks to those who donated, especially those who just joined this site and have evidently quickly found value and have donated accordingly. I think I will set aside some of the funds for prizes/giveaways from the site, people seem to like that sort of thing.

POST 15Original post

K-man, Great site! Very thorough and informative. One suggestion...Please make it mandatory that allCayman owners post pics of their cars/fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/teeth_smile.gif. Chuck

POST 16Original post

APorscheOne, Thanks for the donation, and I highly encourage people to post pics of their car, they can do so in their own personal gallery, as well as in message threads (We'll have to start one just for that purpose), and of course the Registry has a spot for pics too!

POST 17Original post

K-Man S - Money well spent, wish it could had been more but I have a major purchase coming up. Cayman Club was a real find, but was not found directly through a google search. Not long ago searching for a Cayman forum, I had only come up with an less than adequate forum, but in it there was a photo that had Omaha Porsche's name. Luckily I was able to find this GREAT source of information about the Cayman S through his site, that I had just ordered on the 7th of November. Thanks for all your hard work and members sharing their information, knowledge and experiences with our new Luv, Porsche Cayman S. zornet

POST 18Original post

That brings up a good point, Google doesn't seem to be noticing us very well, on my other sites Google crawls my whole site, on this site I think Google only has 1 or 2 pages of the site and I do NOT have a robots.txt file on the server limiting access. Anyone have any ideas why this might be and what we could do to maximize Google exposure?
