Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I am glad I took the 'delete logo' option since IMOanything like that would detract from the clean sweeping lines of te hips and hatch.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

Still no Cayman at the dealer. They just signed launch car paperwork a few days ago. While the sales people realize what the Cayman is I'm not sure management does. This is a joint Audi /Mercedes/Porsche store and the focus seems to be on Audi /Mercedes. So while the rest of the Club gets to look at, sit in, drive and even own Caymans I just live through your experiences.

POST 2Original post

Bummer, do they have one in Albuquerque? In your shoes I'd make the drive...

POST 3Original post

Albuquerque is my dealer. I'm thinking about a trip to Denver or Scottsdale believe it or not. The local manager attended the event in Atlanta and 'wasn't impressed'. An MB guy I guess.

POST 4Original post

SF, I asked Jim the manager of my dealership how did we get a car before NM, and he said that they all came in at San Diego harbor and your vehilces had to be off loaded and received by a flat rack, and then trucked to you. For all you know your vehicles could still be in SanDiego? Ours stayed on the vessel and left directly for Honolulu after the others were off loaded. FWIW, Russ

POST 5Original post

Ifinally saw the Cayman S at my dealer today. Like the other cars that have made it to US showrooms, it is silver and grey, with a suite of options totalling around $71K. My first impressions echo what others have said. The headroom is very noticable, yet I do not get the impression of a 'bubble top' that some others have reported. The rear quarter view is very sexy. I am glad I took the 'delete logo' option since IMOanything like that would detract from the clean sweeping lines of te hips and hatch. On the negative side, the standard exhaust pipes are indeed of poor quality. Already brown and mottled, with only 30 miles on the odometer. I will have to get the stainless steel add-ons before the car is delivered. BTW, the dealer confirms that the car will be released on January 14th. Mods (bra, clear side markers, radar detectors)can be performed prior to that date so as not to deny us the cars a day longer./fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/thumbsup.gif

POST 6Original post

Uber, Those were my thougths on the tailpipe as well, and maybe I just didn't want to see it, but I did not notice the so called 'bubble top' thing at all? Russ

POST 7Original post

That is a great idea about getting mods done before delivery (assuming the car is in before 1/15). Good suggestion.
