Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Sorry, I did not measure the actual opened height, but I did specifically test the opening sequence, and the hatch definitely stops at the lower of the two opened positions; you have to physically push it to its higher opened position, so I do not believe that the first (normal) position will pose a problem for garage door openers, especially given the fact that the cat itself is quite low.

POST 2Original post

Funny thing. The PCNA car arrived at my dealer on Friday and was in the back with both ends open and the engine compartment open. A group of mechanics were huddled around the engine bay when one of them questioned the lack of room to work over the bay. I stepped up as if I new what I was doing and pushed the rear hatch up further. I received an ooh and an aah from thre group, none of whom were aware the hatch opened that far. Just another benefit of participating in this club. At least for now, we know a good bit more about the car than the dealers. JHellow

The first 'setting' for the opening is about 6,3', don't know about the second. It does open more though with a little push
