Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 1 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

So I order some motor mounts for my 997 from a certain parts supplier *ahem*. I get one with a sticker on it and looks new.. I get a second in the box that looks like this: Looks used to me. And I paid for a set of new mounts. Waddya think? Note the manufacture date. 27th week in 2006?

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm trying to. If I can get the service rep from the sponsor of this forum to return my call. After 3 calls yesterday and then being bumped to voicemail while waiting.. I'm not impressed in Pelican at all.

POST 4Original post

Pelican stands behind their stuff. What probably happen was someone returned a used one and they got beat for it. The person that inspects the returns messed up and now you have to suffer for it. I've seen it done a lot on parts ordered through Worldpac. Robert

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yup just got in touch with someone and they're sending out another with return shipping box. I get that sometimes a used part get returned... and I don't want to be "that customer". I also get that car parts can look beaten up. I get it. I know they're busy.. and they're sending a new part to me. So far they've done the right thing. I just think as a parts supplier, if your customer is thinking that they've received a used part and it is indeed new as they claim (don't buy it)... why not QA the part better? Clean it up.. you know?

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Wayne and the gang sent a new part out today. Very nicely done! Prior shipped part will be mailed tomorrow early AM. Very nice response and handled first class. I'll be ordering again in the future after I eat the crow from this post.
