did anyone see one of the latest topgear (season 7, episode 2) where they lap the Cayman S in 1.26.2, slotting it right behind a Lambo Gallardo at 1.25.8, before a Corvette at 1.26.8, and 1 second ahead of the 911 GT3 at 1.27.2 (but probably in the wet?)
I think it can be downloaded here (over 700MB)

in this same episode they also test the new Audi RS4 which Jeremy says is 'biblically good'.

wow what a dissapointment! This car has been set on my mind for the last 2 months and Im picking one up this spring. But for 70k I would expect Porsche to have included a LSD. Its also pretty frustrating that the car was not built to reach its full potential so it wouldnt surpass the 911.
On another note, I can't wait to see what this cars potential is with a few mods.
One note, that tire spinning they show happened at a wet area of the track and they failed to mention that in the video. I've tracked a 2005 Boxster S HARD, very HARD, and never had a problem like what they showed in the video, people are making too much out of that. Would LSD be nice? Sure, does the lack of one make the car unworthy? Absolutely not!
BTW, NO CAR is ever built to reach its full potential, this discussion has taken place already in another thread about this same video.
5th Gear is reviewing next week.
Cant wait to see 5th Gears take on this since Tiff has a history with Porsche.
Do you mind posting the link to the other thread that had the discussion about this video, I cant find it. Thanks in advance
