Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

OK, you already know I am a bit of a nut, but when I was talking to wifey earlier today and started talking about the Cayman she became a statue of silence. I think we have hit critical mass on the subject. So I asked her, begged her to put in her 2 cents worth. Are you willing to do the same with your better half?
Well here goes!! Meet the wife,
......i'm sitting here in front of my husband's computer under protest. I was literally dragged away from a comfortable nap and forced to 'participate' in this Cayman addict's forum.I've been enduring (just barely) theday-in-day-out, 24 hour, ceaseless, never-ending,oh-my-god-is-this-ever-going-to-stop, annoyingCayman chatter. And, now this? All of you ladies out there going through the same there's-no-light-at-the-end-of-this-tortuous-tunnel, I invite you to a united wholeheartedscream for mercy. Or,do yoga. Really. Meditate, breath, and focus on life and things that do matter. Namaste, Dawn

Russ, u really are a funny man! Dawn, if he is as enthusiatic and passionate about you as he is about our cars then you sure must be a very lucky woman! Lol.
The label 'Caymanite' sounds a lot like 'catamite', which is a term for young boys kept by adult males for sexual purposes. Very popular during the Ottoman Empire. Perhaps we should choose another term. Caymanuts?
Don't know if this has made it into the mix of articles - but they do mention wives and the
Cayman S
in the same paragraph. ; -)

Hugo,
Funny article and I like all of but this line! 'No, the
Cayman S
is not the most beautiful, nor the fastest, or even the most affordable Porsche in the stable, but in our measured opinion it is the most fun' [/quote]I have to take issue with 'not the most beautiful' part. She is gorgeous!!!
Aloha Russ
Mark34 thanks for making LOL at a post!!!
I'm lucky I guess, my fiance' wants to go with me as soon as the dealer calls that they have one! She loves it too! I'm careful not to talk about it too much otherwise I do detect jealousy!!!!
CC,
I got news for you girlfriends and fiance's will go along when wives won't!!! Things change once they are at the helm!! That ring sometimes is a license to rule. LOL. In the long run we always work it out.
Good Luck!! Russ
Haha, yea I know that's probably true! The good thing is it's my company car so she doesn't have to worry much about the money I'm spending and I saved money by not getting the tiptronic she wanted/fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/beer2.gif
Yes that manual trans is 'Wife Insurance' (that they won't want to drive it). I convinced Dawn that they don't make a automatic trans!!! No just kidding!! /fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/dance.gif

Thanks Guys, but I wear the Cayman pants in our house. My husband went to the Frankfurt show and came home raving about the Cayman so much I decided to make it my next car. The dealer says it was built in November and is now waiting shipment along with the others of Nov. build.
I ordered seal gray with teracotta interior, sports seats,
sport chrono
, zenons,
bose
, and 19's. I can't wait to get my hands on it!!

PS. Don't feel too bad for my husband he consoled himself with a 2005 Turbo S, Porsche car talk goes on all of the time around here.
deebs,
Let me be the first to say CONGRATULAIONs & WELCOME! Iam not so sure I want my wife to read your post, because for now she is quite happy with her SUV. I am glad to hear that both you and your husband have so much in common when it comes to cars. Enjoy your Cayman!!
Aloha Russ
Welcome Aboard Girlracer,
This is a great place for sharing, asking questions or just listening in. There are some very knowledgeable people here that are more than willing to help out anyone asking. If it weren't for this siteI might not still have a wife!
Aloha Russ
Thank you! I've got a 6 month old 987S. Just checking out my car's big brother since I expect I will move up to a
Cayman S
in time.

Girlracer,
You way ahead of me. I am coming out of a 15 year
BMW
fix, and I can hardly wait to get back into a Porsche again. You will learn a lot here about the Cayman and it will help you make the right choices when the time comes. Stay tuned!
Russ
Jo,
Great question! I did see somewhere on the site where it indicated how many of the members were male and how many were female. However not sure if all female members are prdering or planning to order a Cayman. I will try to find it in the meantime maybe K-Man can help us out?
