Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have a '03 996 C4S coupe with 30k miles and a PSM problem. Car recently got a pair of new rear tyes and had Geo done. I have Conti SP2 N2 on the front with 6mm tread and brand new Pirelli PZero Rosso N5 on the back. I've covered 300miles since fitting the Pirellis. The issue is in some higher speed left turns, the PSM light (the yellow one on the dash with a triangle shaped icon, NOT the light that says "PSM") flickers and the rear drivers side wheel locks. The wheel modulation is as if ABS is cutting in briefly, just enough to throw the car into a half-second of oversteer and un-nerve the driver. The issue is repeatable but it seems to happen only if you're driving the car spiritedly (say 7 or 8/10ths). It has happened in everything from a 30mph tight curve e..g motorway off ramp to a 70mph sweeping bend. Anyone else had this problem or know what might need to be checked? Thanks
