Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

what color? There are a few different Porsche "black" colors and you can get a true match touch up paint for it

POST 3Original post

Isn’t there only one black plain paint? I think it’s paint code 041 for black Porsche paint. I noticed how it has a blue undertone, as I ordered a black touch up before from the “scratch happens” page and it wasn’t a match, as it had a green undertone. I ordered one from suncoast too,

Depending on: Number of chips, location, your level of fussiness and if you have a connection to a good body shop that won't take you? Consider a spray and blend. I chased chips on my 944 the entire time I owned it, most on the middle nose panel. I have a fair amount of experience on chips. Even with Dr. Colorchip, the only way to make it right is a spray. You can improve it by hand but they will always be visible unless you're looking at it from some distance.
