This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

They run pretty cheap, have a cool tread pattern, and seem to get respect in the road biking world. I wonder how good they would be on the 996, they are rated Y by the way.
I tried Vredestein Ultracs on my E46 M3. They felt comparable to Nitto 555's and the like. I don't feel they were comparable to the upper strata of Michelin, Yokos, etc.
The Ultracs are #2 from their list... I never tried the Vredestein Sessantas, which are supposed to be superior than the Ultracs.

Do you think they are good enough for street driving/auto-xing? I dont track. They are $90 cheaper a tire over Contis and $100's over, it seems, everything else.
I used to run their snow tires on my quattro's. They were a good winter tire w/ good grip and decent handling, but I cannot comment on their summer tires. Seem to be a very respected brand- I think they are Scandinavian.
I am concerned however of the Y rating. I wonder if the sidewalls is stiff enough to be in the ballpark of a "N" spec tire. Y tires according to Tirerack are tested above 186 MPH like my car achieves on top end
