I don't know how to fix your problem but running the engine lean for a length of time will eventually burn holes in your pistons from too much heat.

Suggestion

all your "too-lean" codes are from the rear O2 sensors so they are getting a signal that is out of range but doesn't necessarily mean you are running excesively lean.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Plug in the Durametric for the first time and got the following list of error codes below: P2196 - Unknown DTC:2196 P0153 - Oxygen Sensor Ahead of Cat - Converter bank 2: dynamism P2097 - A/F Ratio Correct.Beh.Cat.c. - Bank 1 above lean control limit P2270 - Oxygen Sensor signal behind cat - converter bank 1 - too lean 8035 - passenager front airbag - stage 1 below lower limit 8036 - passenager front airbag - stage 2 below lower limits 8003 - passenger's head airbag - above upper limit 8008 - driver's front airbag stage 2 - above upper limit 8009 - driver's belt tensioner - above upper limit 800A - passenger's belt tensioner - above upper limit 800B - driver's head airbag - above upper limit My question is for the O2 sensor and CAT too lean, will that affect the car in the long run? Would the 02 or MAS break down sooner? At the moment, with the Supersprint Race Exhaust, there isn't a fix for the issue, unless I upgrade the software I think. I tried the pairs of nonfoulers on the rear O2 sensors, it work for a day, then the P2196 would come back again. Anyone have any ideas on fixing the too lean issue? Tks in advice

POST 3Original post

Sounds like you're running catless/hi flo cats? you can stack the anti-foulers but that is really just a bandaid. all your "too-lean" codes are from the rear O2 sensors so they are getting a signal that is out of range but doesn't necessarily mean you are running excesively lean. you could have it dynoed with a wide band O2 sensor and that will tell you were you really are. I think softronic offers a flash that will ignore the rear O2 sensors and that may help you. how loud is the supersprint race, and and gains on the butt-dyno?

POST 4Original post

oh really, guess I need to find a solution fast Supersprint USA were totally useless on solution to fix the problem

POST 5Original post

I am running stock header and cats, the first set of exhaust cats are gone. I stack two non foulers on the rear O2 Sensors already, but it didn't do anything, maybe I should try stacking pair of foulers on the first set of O2 sensors also. I emailed Scott from Softronice, he said can't help. So my options are either buy either the softronic software or the RS350 package with software. I don't see how others with aftermarket exhaust and stock headers doesn't have this error I am getting, just my luck. the Race exhaust sounds great and no drone at all, for video clip, go to youtube.com, search under advantyper79, I uploaded some video of the car. butt-dyno feels similar to stock, but on higher RPM range, it feels like it pulls harder, but I think its probably the louder exhaust note thats tricking the mind feel you are going faster. Tks for everyone's input

POST 6Original post

Hello, I would just like to make sure I know what you are running exactly. Do you have the Factory headers with cats installed with all 4 O2 sensors? The exhaust that you installed is from the header /cats back and eliminated the secondary cats and muffler? Send me a PM with the exact part numbers from Supersprints web site if you can. Thank You, Scott Slauson

POST 7Original post

Hi Scott PM you the part number in a few minutes, tks for your help in advance. Tks
